AI Assisted Business Process Mapping

This project uses Large Language Models to produce a library of IRS business process maps, optionally integrated into knowledge graphs based on the Internal Revenue Manual (IRM), the IRS processing codes (Document 6209), and other pertinent documents. A custom tool assists users with prompt engineering to drill down on specific business areas with additional desktop guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

For internal IRS use, the library drives efficiency by mapping processes and helping identify bottlenecks. It serves as a companion to the IRM and Document 6209, and a valuable resource to IRS employees.

Outputs are produced as standard BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) diagrams or knowledge graphs.
